Priceless Items Lost to River Flooding

Hi! Roz and I are Addyʼs Aunties. It was her familiesʼ home that fell into the Mendenhall River yesterday. We wanted to give a bit of background to help you all have an understanding of how this event was even more devastating than just the loss of her family home for her. The loss of the home is an incredible loss for all of them. Not only did she lose her family home, she lost all of her belongings, and among those belongings were all of her memorabilia from her childhood and from her mother who passed away nearly 10 years ago.

These items are not replaceable, but we are hoping that we can help ease some of her pain around this situation by getting some funds to help her as she heads back to college. This will also help to alleviate some of the financial burdens that her stepmother, Liz Kent, is now facing with the total loss of their house. The needs in our community right now are going to be overwhelming for a while, but this is an amazing community and we know how well we can all pull together in times of need.
