Preventative Women's Health

Hi, my name is Samara! I'm in the Global Scholars program at Byram Hills High School and am currently participating in the Changemaker Project to raise money for access to preventative women's health. There is a lack of access to and information about contraception, and low-income women are more likely to succumb to an accidental pregnancy, pushing them even further into poverty. To ameliorate this, I decided to focus on providing women and shelters in my community with a concise list of local health clinics, along with additional information about contraceptives and services offered. I plan on creating a website to make the information more accessible to these women, which is what the funds will contribute to.
