This is year 8th of having the July 4th Block party, and it has gotten bigger and bigger each year. We now have 3 bands, a stage, a full open bar, a 24 foot food table, games for the big kids and the small ones too, corn hole and hosts of other activities. Each year we have tried to collect donations to cover the cost and to make a donation to Coeur D' Alene grade school, Mark Twain Middle school and our local fire department, but we never quite get there each year. The bulk of the funding for this free event the last 8 years has been handled by just a few of us neighbors. This will give everyone in the neighborhood a chance to give and help our schools. If we have 120 people give $50 bucks we would reach our goal. I know some people can give way more and a few of you have stopped me wanting to give already so we should be able to reach our goal. Doing it this way, will keep every thing tranparent. Please help us reach our goal and please come to the party. This is a great way to meet your neighbors and have a blast doing it. All are welcome!
