Step into a world where glitz, glamour, and artistry converge—a world where the timeless legacy of entertainment’s most iconic performers comes to life. Welcome to the Society for the Preservation of Entertainment History (SPEH), where our mission is to celebrate and preserve the rich tapestry of global Showgirl heritage.
From dazzling live stage shows to the silver screen, Showgirls have captured hearts and imaginations across generations. Our collection, boasting over 40,000 unique artifacts, is a testament to this incredible legacy. Each piece tells a story of creativity, passion, and artistry, offering a glimpse into a past filled with wonder and spectacle.
But these treasures need a home—a place where their stories can be told, and their magic preserved for future generations. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our plan to create a dynamic public museum, right in the heart of Las Vegas, dedicated to showcasing the world’s entertainment history.
We’re launching our initial Pioneer's raise with a goal of $53,000 to make this dream a reality. Your generous support will help us:
- Hire an architect to design a detailed scope of work for our new venue.
- Identify and plan essential updates like electrical work, emergency lighting, and structural assessments.
- Engage professional grant writers to secure additional funding.
- Cover legal fees and navigate the application process for a lease agreement with the City of Las Vegas.
This is more than just a museum; it’s a living, breathing tribute to the Showgirl spectaculars that have defined entertainment for decades. By donating, you’re not just preserving artifacts—you’re keeping the magic alive, ensuring that the legacy of Showgirl heritage continues to inspire and captivate for years to come.
