Williams Graveyard in Mount Vernon, Missouri has stood since the 1830s — home to the founding families of Lawrence County. It costs roughly $3,000 a year just to keep the grounds mowed. We've raised $1,500 so far and need $1,500 more to finish the year. If you're a descendant of the Gullett, Ragain, Lebow, Plumlee, Sutton, Williams, Etter, Ellis, Moore, or Baugh families — or just believe old graves deserve to be kept — please consider giving.
