Preserve the SLO Life

Preserve the SLO Life is a coalition of community members advocating for adequate and appropriate environmental assessment of development, infrastructure and other community-impacting projects in and around the City of San Luis Obispo to ensure the longterm sustainability of our unique community. We are a group of City and County residents (many of whom commute to or through San Luis Obispo) who feel appropriate smart growth and long term planning principles should be applied in order to protect the unique lifestyle we refer to as "the SLO Life" for current and future residents. We recognize and accept some smart growth, but strive to ensure that is done with the utmost protections for our communities and environment in place. Funds raised will be used to support those efforts directly as well as to support spread of our messages throughout the community via online, email and social media outreach, advocacy and community member engagement / calls to action.
