Preserve the Magic—New Carpet for the Montello Theater

Help Us Preserve the Historic Montello Theater!

The Montello Theater has been a special part of our community for generations — a place where families gather, kids experience the magic of their first movie, and memories are made.

We are proud to keep the theater open for the community at the same low prices, even as costs around us continue to rise. For the past three years, we’ve volunteered our time without ever taking a paycheck, and we’ve personally invested thousands of dollars into improvements to keep this beloved theater running strong.

Some of the projects we’ve already completed include:

Installing a brand-new air conditioner to keep everyone comfortable year-round

Paying for new front doors to update and secure the entrance

Redoing the entire concession area flooring for a safer, cleaner experience

We also proudly donated $500 to our Veterans Fund to ensure that veterans can always attend movies for free — something we will continue for as long as we’re running the theater.

Now, we need your help with our next big project: replacing the carpet throughout the theater.

The current carpet is decades old and worn, and replacing it will make the theater safer, cleaner, and more welcoming for everyone who walks through our doors.

We are asking for support from our community to help fund this major update.
