As caretakers of the Old Stone Church, Tom LeGrand and Bill Cotting are both life-long residents of Rhinebeck.

Bill Cotting is the fourth generation of his family involved in the Old Stone Church, formally known as Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Peter.

Tom LeGrand and his family have been involved with the church for more than 40 years. Both LeGrand's and Cotting's family are buried in the cemetery.

Tom says, "We both realize the church is an important part of Rhinebeck's history. Together, Bill and I are working to preserve both the church and the cemetery for future generations."

Tom further noted, "We need your help to preserve this historic community asset. We appreciate anything you are able to donate to our GoFundMe online, or contact us personally if you wish.

Donated funds will be earmarked for the following major initiatives: Annual upkeep of the cemetery, tree removal, replacing the roof on the exterior, and repairing the interior ceiling of the church.
