What happens if the Olvera Street's Legacy merchants disappear?

No More Dia de los Muertos celebrations, no more Blessing of the Animals, no more Las Posadas. No more tamales, taquitos or family recipes passed down through generations. No more gathering to honor our abuelos and abuelas, celebrate our culture, or share the traditions that have made Olvera Street the heart of Los Angeles for nearly a century. The reality is that many of Olvera Street's multi-generational merchants are struggling under years of economic hardship, reduced tourism, rising costs and accumulated dept.

These businesses have kept the culture of Olvera Street alive for generations. Now we need your help.
