Preserve Marina del Rey's History: Donate Today

History Preserved – History Remembered is not only the mission statement of the Marina del Rey Historical Society (MdRHS), but our focus as the primary source of Marina del Rey’s archival heritage. As a small volunteer-driven 501(c)3 non-profit organization (n-p o), we are committed to making sure every piece of historical information in any format acquired is curated including digitization to build on the historic value of the society.

As an (n-p o) we are always in need of funding to keep our gallery, website, and archives up to date and is available to all visitors including the local community, schools, and tour groups. With your contribution, you become a vital part of our community’s history as a donor who appreciates preserving history, as a sponsor whose support helps to maintain our gallery’s public access and various projects, or as a volunteer who can donate their time and expertise.

Our organization exists primarily on your support for us to be a successful entity for community pride and this will help us to complete the various projects at the historical gallery in Fisherman’s Village to make it a more immersive experience by adding video monitors and TV with content from PowerPoint programs and video presentations in order to create a more flowing visual historical documentation.
