Preserve Historic Lexington

Hello Lexington residents, we are a group of 30+ families in the Follen Hill neighborhood working to preserve a historic site in our neighborhood. Our efforts lead to the proposal for the establishment of the Mt Independence Local Historic District. If successful, we will preserve a significant historic home in our neighborhood which Massachusetts Historical Commission found to be eligible to be included in a National Register Historic District together with its Olmsted Brothers designed landscape, as well as five other homes and two beautiful lots of land. We seek funds to be used for communications and publications to support an effective campaign to reach Lexington residents and elected officials. We, the immediate neighbors will be very grateful for your donation. All Town residents will benefit if we are successful by preserving the rich heritage of our town for future generations of Lexingtonians.
