Hi, my name is Ordenia.
I'm in desperate need of help from the world to stop the eviction process that is going on with me and my family. Even $5 dollars help
How did I get to this point in life where I'm begging for help desperately? Here it is: I got married to a wonderful man on October 3, 2022, who lost his aunt and grandmother in January 2022. Then his life hit rock bottom. He loved his aunt and his grandmother and couldn't get over the loss, so he called me to comfort him. I help with his depression, stress, and some funds. And then we decided to get married. Then his uncle passed away in August 2023, so we gave up our apartment on October 1st 2023 to help his brother, who lived with his uncle that passed away, pay the rent. The deal was we pay the rent until he gets a job, and then we go half with him on the rent. I gave up my job to get the house in livable conditions, and we all was supposed to put $150 each towards groceries because the family had lived there for 20 years sick with no help or cleaning and no food in the fridge. Yes, his brother was living there but didn't help with cleaning or food. His brother agreed, and we did the move. After my husband paid all the rent and helped fix his brother's eviction, his brother then got a job in November 2023. When he got the job, my husband was still paying all the rent by himself until he got laid off in February 2024 due to an injury at his job. We informed his brother about him being laid off, and he said he would pay the rent until my husband gets a job. So my husband put his last check on the rent, and I kept cleaning. My husband, who has never been without a job, fell into a deep depression after losing his job, aunt, grandmother, and uncle.
Then, 3 months later, he got a job that was not a strain for the injury he had from the previous job, and 2 weeks after that, he got a second job. His brother questioned him on why he got 2 jobs, and my husband told him because I have my wife and son to care for. A few days after starting the second job, his brother then came to us and said we better have all the rent or go because he doesn't want to pay rent; he wants to hang out and enjoy his life. We explained to him that my husband didn't even get his first check yet, and that's when he informed us that I have to cook and clean, and his brother has to pay all the rent so he can enjoy his life. This happened at the end of July 2024. That's when he started to tell us we have to move out, screaming at the top of his lungs for us to get out on 3 different occasions, stating that I have to cook and clean if he's going to pay the rent, which he didn't pay. So my husband paid it with his first check from the new job and asked him for his half, which made his brother more upset and told us that we have to move out again, stating that if he has to put anything on the rent, I must cook and clean for him, which I was already doing. Nobody bought food; my aunt gave us food until my husband could afford to feed us all: his brother, me, and himself.
But we were still told to get out and go, so we went apartment hunting in New York City, where we were unable to get an apartment due to the high rent prices in NYC. We got lucky to get a call for an apartment in Jersey City. Not knowing life would hit us again, we took the apartment and were doing good. Fast forward 2 months into us having the new apartment, my husband gets garnished by child support from both his jobs, even though his son haven't lived with the mom since the age of six, which messed up our rent money and our eating money right along with our light bill. Then I found out I was pregnant in december, and that was the happiest time during our downfall. Then our dog got sick and died on January 4 and was cremated on January 12 , and I had a miscarriage with our baby a week after she died. Then the bills started to roll in faster and faster with little to no pay because of child support (as a reminder , my husband's son was never with the mother; he was raised in different facilities from the age of 6). I started to DoorDash and injured my knee, and now I can't even help with the bills. We are now in the process of eviction, and our lights will be turned off also. Through this storm, I managed to get pregnant again, and now I'm 5 weeks pregnant. I'm really begging for help so we don't end up pregnant on the streets, and we were granted custody of his son, and I definitely don't want him to lose that. My husband was told by his son's mother that she doesn't want him in his son's life and would rather he only be a voice. We will not just be a voice. We got custody after my husband was not allowed to see or hear from his son for 4 full years. Now that we have custody, child support hasn't stopped taking my husband's money, and we are about to be evicted with me being pregnant and his son on his way home. Please help; anything goes a long way.
God bless and thank you all.
