Pregnancy & Infant Loss Comfort Boxes
Donation protected
Hello :)
My name is Carmen. In my journey to have a family, I, like many other families, experienced pregnancy loss several times and in different ways.
For me personally, there was loss before I had children and there was also loss after having children.
I am a mama to 11 babies, 7 not physically here but always with me, 3 beautiful earth-side children & one currently inside.
When our journey started in 2015 these resources did not exist for us. I was alone with a guide book that said What to do when your baby dies. I hope to be the change I wish to create by creating comfort boxes to our local community. Since we are a small town we do not have the same services that exist in some of the bigger cities which is why I’m so passionate about this.
My Chippi Chippi boxes, (which means sunshine rain in Guatemala) will include nourishing products from local vendors in Lambton-County as well as a copy of my book A Diary to My Babies & Journal (included as a donation) to provide families with comfort after a pregnancy loss when others don’t know what to say it’s a small way to show support and that they are not alone in something that can be so isolating.
With a little help to make this small dream happen in our small town I know we can make a difference. If you feel pulled to donate shining your light on the darkness of Pregnancy & Infant Loss I believe we will begin to make the smallest shift to big change for those experiencing this kind of loss.
May they feel the love & support that surrounds them & their forever babies xx
