Because we need to buy a home

Hi, my name is Precious, and I'm raising funds with hopes to get my family into our own home. Thank you for taking time to come to this page and get to know a little about me and my family. This past end of the year, my family faced a terrible emergency that caused us to fall behind in all of our bills and left just me, taking care of 7 of my 9 children. As I am finishing college, the dream of buying a family home has become more than a challenge, but a need. The prices of both homes and rent have gone up, and yet my children and I have been praying still that we might one day be able to have enough space and a little land, despite the challenges that I have faced over the years.

The recent emergency led me to 90Works, whose goal is to help Veterans in transition. The director asked me if I would be willing to do an interview and gave me the opportunity to share my story, and I am so grateful for her and her outreach manager, Andrea. Thank you both so much. I also want to thank Mackenzie from WALB for taking time to hear my story and relate with me in such a genuine way.

In prayer I realized that if perhaps many people contribute a little bit, then the dream can be possible. It is my prayer that if you feel led to give, then you will send your desired gift toward the cause.
