Grenfell Graffiti Jam 2019
2 years ago 72 people lost their lives in the Grenfell disaster. It was a tragedy which rocked the community, but at the same time it brought us together and made us stronger and we want to keep that strength and sense of community alive and celebrate it. CBM crew created a Grenfell Graffiti Jam last year and raised an incredible £3,200 for the community. This year we want to keep the good vibes going and have picked up the baton.
On Saturday June 15th, to commemorate the 2 year anniversary, we will be holding the Grenfell Graffiti Jam Part 2 at Trellick Tower and we're asking for your support.
The event will celebrate the lives that were saved as well as remembering those who have been lost. It's about bringing together the community for a day of strength and celebration as well as to help raise money for grassroots charities working in the local community.
The event is completely free and we are planning a load of activities for all ages including:
Live graffiti by top local and national artists - artists to be confirmed soon!
A kids zone including a kids graffiti wall, and a colouring in station so they can make some mini masterpieces to take home
Arts corner where you can buy original artworks and prints from local artists and help us to raise money on the day
Merchandise stall printing t-shirts and mugs
Remember, any donations however big or small will go along way to help and the profits raised here and on the day will be donated to our chosen charities.
Thank you xx
Last year we raised over £3200 money for Kids On TheGreen and we're happy to say we will be supporting them again this year.
We will also be supporting Glue @ Tabernacle
A new wave youth programme aimed at inspiring and connecting young creatives through a range of free after-school workshops.
