Prayers for the Yott family

To know this beautiful little Yott family is to know friendship, laughter, true love, and family values. They are kind and loving, and would give the shirts off their backs to help others in need! Which is why I am writing this gofund me in hopes we can all come together to help bare some of the load my sister is currently facing. In the beginning of the week, her son, Landen (15yrs old) had a bit of a medical scare come up, and was brought down to Syracuse, to upstate hospital for further testing and evaluations. During which time her other 2 children were still in school, and dad (Joe Yott) was headed home to get them off the bus to bring them to their aunt and uncles house. This was the plan so he could make the drive down to be with his wife and oldest son at upstate.

Well, somewhere along the lines, Joe didn’t quite make it to getting the kids off the bus. Instead, his daughter found him in their entry way, unresponsive. Joe was brought to Samaritan and later helivaced (air lifted) to upstate hospital.

My sister, Natalie, already dealing with the stress and what ifs of her son’s medical concerns, is now faced with even more uncertainty and heartache. Joe was intubated and placed in a medically induced coma, trying to figure out what happened and what damages if any, occurred while he was unresponsive.

Last night he woke up on his own and tubes were removed. Things were looking like they were headed in a good direction. However today’s updates show no response from Joe even though he is awake.. Which could be a number of things.

In light, due to the extent of medical concerns for both Landen and Joe. The drs are keeping both of them at minimum for another week.

The Yotts live in Watertown. So as you can imagine, the cost to drive back and forth in gas alone isn’t cheap. But let’s add on food and parking expenses, plus both of them being out of work while this is all happening. We know bills still need to be paid and right now that’s the last thing my sister should have to worry about.

So I ask you, please donate to this gofund me so she can have a little less stress as she continues to be an amazing wife and super mom to her family. Donations will go straight to her, and every little bit helps and is incredibly appreciated.
