Me and my husband found out we were pregnant on November 2nd. We had an appointment with a high-risk doctor on December 22nd where a possible abdominal issue was found. We then went to our anatomy scan on February 2nd, and the abdominal issue they found at the previous appointment was worse than they originally anticipated. Our little girl was diagnosed with something called Limb-Body Wall Complex(LBWC). It basically means all of her internal organs are outside of her body, including part of her heart. It also can cause spinal issues, and her spine has a lot of curving that is not good. She’s basically twisted and curled up and “stuck” to the placenta wall to where she can’t really grow, and she’s measuring really small. It’s a fatal diagnosis and extremely rare. We have been going to weekly ultrasounds since for a weekly heartbeat check. Whenever we go in and there’s no heartbeat, we will go to labor and delivery and deliver her, unfortunately stillborn. There’s no known cause of this, nothing we did wrong, just a very sad and unfortunate circumstance. Any money donated will go to any hospital bills, time taken off work, a memorial service or cremation(whichever route we decide to go), Please keep us in your prayers over the next few weeks/months as we navigate this unimaginable and very tough time.❤️
