On March 18, 2025, Angel’s life changed in an instant. While making a quick Target run after work, he was struck by a reckless driver going 120 mph through the streets. The impact was devastating. Angel became the innocent victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The crash left Angel with a Traumatic Brain Injury, a broken ankle, damaged vocal cords, memory loss, and both physical and cognitive impairments. He spent time in a coma and is now facing a long, uncertain road to recovery.
Angel is a kindhearted, hardworking, and loving person — a proud cat dad to a Sphinx, a devoted brother to eight sisters and one little brother, and a friend to so many. At the time of the accident, he was working full-time and had just re-enrolled in school to further his education.
To make matters worse:
The driver who hit Angel was uninsured, meaning no financial assistance is available to help cover his medical care. Angel’s own car insurance had just expired, leaving him with no coverage for the accident. Now, he faces overwhelming medical bills for ongoing physical, occupational, cognitive, and speech therapy, along with the loss of his income due to his injuries.
Recovering from a brain injury can take a year or more — with no guarantee of full recovery. Angel’s situation is especially heartbreaking because he’s not only battling to heal, but also struggling under the crushing weight of financial stress.
Despite everything, Angel continues to fight every single day. His strength, humor, and determination inspire all of us who love him. But he can’t do this alone.
How You Can Help

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read about Angel’s journey, and for any support you can offer.
