Our family is reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for prayers, love, and support for my sister-in-law, Susann Fusco.

Susann is currently in the ICU, and we are waiting for her to become stable enough so her doctors can give us a clearer diagnosis and treatment plan. In the meantime, she is surrounded by love, faith, and family. My brother Philip has not left her side for a single moment, standing faithfully with her through every test, every challenge, and every sleepless night.

Susann and Philip are true college sweethearts. They met at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama — her hometown — and have been inseparable ever since. Together they built a beautiful life in New Jersey, raising their three children — Philip, Jackie, and Anthony — and creating a home filled with love, humility, and faith.

Anyone who knows Susann knows she is an integral and irreplaceable part of our family. She is a devoted wife, an incredible mother, and a light to everyone who knows her. She has also poured her heart into education as both an Assistant Principal and a beloved Montessori teacher, treating every child as though they were her own.

Now, in the face of this health crisis, Susann is showing the same courage and grace she has always lived by. But the journey ahead will be long, uncertain, and filled with emotional, physical, and financial challenges. Medical expenses, time away from work, and the cost of ongoing care are overwhelming.

We are humbly asking for help to ease that burden so that Susann, my brother, and their family can focus fully on what truly matters: her healing, her comfort, and their precious time together.
