Help and support Eric Nida as he fights for his life

Hello, My name is Meghan and I am 1 out of 4 daughters to Eric D. Nida. Eric is currently in the ICU struggling for his life as he battles pneumonia, diabetes, and MRSA. We also recently found out he is struggling with a spot on his heart , doctors do not know what it is along with 2 blood clots in his right leg. Our family is asking for some help in this trying time and we also ask for prayers that he pulls through this! Anything helps, we appreciate your time and thank you for your support

Edit: On Friday night they took Eric’s ventilator out and he was doing well on the PCU floor. However Saturday things took a turn so Eric got transferred to ICU while being put back on the ventilator as they noticed his is breathing was getting more labored, as of right now thing are getting slightly better, he got extubated again and his white blood cell count is going down! He can form full sentences and knows what’s going on around him. They do not foresee him going home this week or possibly for the next few weeks but have been doing repeat echocardiograms on his heart. We are not out of the woods yet though, he still has 2 abscesses on his lungs, The infectious disease doctor came in and said that he will probably have infusions when he gets out and gets home since those things take about 12 weeks to get better, all we can do is keep praying and keep him in our hearts as he goes through this journey!
