On December 19, 2025, our family’s lives were changed forever when my brother Christopher Halverson was involved in a devastating accident. As a result, he suffered a severe traumatic brain injury, a brain bleed, two collapsed lungs, and a fractured spine. He was immediately hospitalized, intubated, and placed into a coma, where he has remained since the accident.
Early on, doctors told us heartbreaking news — that he may never open his eyes, breathe on his own, or live without being connected to tubes for the rest of his life. Those words shattered us. But despite the odds, we have held tightly to our faith and hope.
And he has already proven just how strong he is.
He has begun opening his eyes, breathing on his own, and moving the left side of his body. While he is currently unable to speak or follow commands, he remains stable and continues to show signs that give us hope for recovery. Every small movement, every breath on his own, feels like a miracle to our family.
The road ahead is long and uncertain. He will require extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and ongoing support. The financial burden of medical bills, therapies, and long-term care is overwhelming, and that is why we are reaching out for help.
Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward his medical expenses and help relieve some of the stress on our family so we can focus on what matters most — being by his side and supporting his recovery. If you’re unable to donate, we ask that you please keep him in your prayers and share this page.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, support, and faith during this incredibly difficult time.
