My name is Traci Hargrove and my son Christopher was hit by a car while riding his bike on November 22 in front of Lee's Cars on Highway 70 in Dickson, Tennessee. He was rushed to Vanderbilt trauma unit, where he is still at, paralyzed with a trach and feeding tube. I hate to ask anyone for help, but I can't afford to get back and forth to Vanderbilt. My car is on its last leg with over 300,000 miles, and I just need help with rides back and forth. I haven't been working. Along with Christopher, my mother passed away on Dec 14th, and it's been really emotional and dumbfounding at the same time. Please keep saying prayers for Chris. I take comfort in knowing people are praying for him. All the wonderful things people have told me about how Chris was so polite and would do anything he was asked and charming. We have a long road ahead of us. Our lives totally changed that night forever, and we are upside down, not knowing what to do or how to do it. The guy that hit him only had state minimum insurance, and Chris won't see any of that because of hospital bills. Thanks for taking the time to read our story. Keep those prayers coming, and God bless all of you.
