Prayers and Aid for Roman's Long Road to Recovery

On April 29th, 2026, a tragic accident happened to my 13-year-old nephew, Roman Sad. He was driving a scooter on the side of the road and got hit by an underage driver. The accident happened by the Sacramento Metro Fire Station 26, and they reacted very professionally. Roman has been transferred to the UC Davis Medical Center SICU. He is in stable but critical condition. He is in an induced coma and on a lung ventilation system. He has already gone through a nose reconstruction surgery. More surgeries will be done in the future. His recovery will take time.

Roman and his family moved to the United States in December 2023, after the full-scale Russian invasion. He lives with his mother and two siblings in the Antelope area. He is a very nice boy with a huge heart. His mother, Oksana, is a very hardworking lady. She was a nurse in Ukraine, but after moving here, she works as a cleaner at the Clean Society company. She has never asked for anything, but now we are asking for help. Oksana can’t work right now; she is in the ICU with Roman. She will need help paying rent and having money for food for her two other children. Roman's medical bills are covered by Medi-Cal so far. Oksana would greatly appreciate any help. We would like to thank everybody who is praying for Romchyk! Keep him in your prayers!! May God bless you abundantly.
