Hello. My name is Prahshanti and It’s hard to write this because of how much I’ve done to get this far, what I’ve been through, what just happened and also because, if you know me, I’m not the greatest at asking for help. A few days after my birthday my car was parked in my apartment garage and someone came in and broke into my car and stole about $10,000 worth of business equipment. The money set back was one thing and that was pretty devastating untill I remembered it’s just materialistic items and I can work to pay them off and get more. But even more devastating than the money set back, was I can’t get back all the footage and memories of the community events I’ve done, all the clients work that I was accountable for and still owe, and did, all my family’s pictures of birthdays weddings baby showers and my 2 sons documented history over the past few years. That was all in the hard drives that were stolen not even to mention my music and beats I’ve been making since I got the computer. And the videos I was going to drop. All that is priceless. With so many people suggesting that I should make a go fund me because they believed the community would support because of what I do and how I live. Here it is! They got my laptop which was over $3000, 2 hard drives $400, my camera which was one of the most recent top of the line cameras out, and lens and accessories over $7000 and my gimbal parts, microphone $60, cords , 3 memory SDs $600.
I had a dream as a kid and I turned it into a reality. I love giving back to the community and me working with the tools I bought and the business I built, I’m able to give back to the community! So thank you to everyone who has supported prior and helped get this dream this far. And thank you to the ones who are about to help. And thank you to the future supporters and the ones who will continue to support through merch, bookings, and all the donations. I appreciate all the support over the years in which ever way it was given. And I couldn’t have made it this far without the community. Sharing this story and link is more than enough support. I know I would bounce back eventually by myself but with the help of the community I know it will be at a much faster pace! Words can’t describe how grateful I am to have made it this far and can’t wait to see what more is to come.
Sincerely,
Prahshanti
