Millions of people are feeling the devastating effects of the pandemic, and hunger is one of the most urgent, yet hidden, issues facing our local communities and our nation. No one should have to go without food or without basic necessities, yet small business closures, rising unemployment rates, and changes to daily routine have led to reduced income and the need for additional assistance.

Progressive Rehabilitation Associates (PRA) is recognizing the need for additional assistance for members of our communities and has decided to host a virtual fundraiser for our communities’ local food banks: Built By Community in Iowa City, Coralville Food Pantry, Bread of Life Food Pantry in Tipton, and The First Presbyterian Church Food Pantry in Williamsburg. 

According to information from local food banks:
$25 feeds a family for a month.
$150 feeds a family for six months.
$300 feeds a family for a year.
$1,500 feeds 10 families for six months.
$3,000 feeds 10 families for a year.

Now through December 14th please join us in helping members of our community affected by the many set-backs 2020 has brought.  We will be delivering funds to all organizations in time to have food on hand for the holidays and into the winter.
