On Sunday, August 24th, 2025, the world became a little dimmer.
A tragic accident took the life of Austin Vivian — a devoted husband, a loving father, and a man who showed up for everyone around him.
As a team, we at Stones Speed Shop felt strongly that we could do more for Austin’s family.
Austin was the kind of person who made a quiet but lasting impact. He helped without being asked, supported those around him, and never hesitated to lend a hand. Whether it was friends, coworkers, or someone just needing a bit of guidance, he gave what he could with no expectation in return. That was simply who he was.
He leaves behind his wife and their four-year-old son, who are now trying to navigate life without the person who meant everything to them. The weight of that loss — emotionally, mentally, and financially — is something no family should ever have to carry alone.
The financial strain placed on Austin’s family has been overwhelming. An earlier GoFundMe was created shortly after the accident, but it raised far less than this family truly needs and has since been deleted. We believe our community — the hot rod community, the friends who knew him, and those who simply feel moved to help — can come together and give this family the support they deserve.
Austin spent years helping people around him, and now it’s our turn to show up for the two people he cherished most.
Every contribution makes a difference, no matter the amount.
If you prefer, cash donations can also be made directly at Stones Speed Shop, and every dollar will be personally delivered to his family.
Thank you for showing up for Austin’s wife and son, for keeping his memory alive, and for honouring him with the same kindness and generosity he so often showed to others.
From the Stones Speed Shop Team.
