I’m starting this fundraiser to help the air traffic controllers who are working without pay because of the government shutdown.

My name is Gianni, and I’m an airline pilot for the major airlines . Every day, my job depends on the incredible men and women in air traffic control — professionals who keep millions of passengers safe, calm, and moving through the sky even in the most stressful conditions.

Right now, because of the shutdown, many of them are showing up to work without a paycheck. They’re guiding airplanes safely across the country while wondering how to pay rent, buy groceries, or keep the lights on at home.

Air traffic control is one of the hardest, most high-pressure jobs in the world. There’s no margin for error, and yet they continue to show up — out of pride, professionalism, and a deep love for aviation.

I work in the same industry, and I know firsthand how vital they are. The aviation system simply wouldn’t function without them. This GoFundMe is a small way to give back and help them make ends meet until back pay is issued.

100% of the funds raised here will go directly to supporting controllers and their families — helping with essential needs like food, bills, rent, and emergency expenses during this shutdown.
