Hi, we are Priory Park School and Little Kinvaston School.
Building on the success of the C2C charity ride last year, where we raised over £2700. We aim to attempt a new challenge in May 2025. A small group of staff with a support vehicle will ride the Traws Eryri cycle route crossing Snowdonia from south to north. Starting in Machynlleth and weaving its way for 127 miles (200km) through the wilds of Wales, as it heads through the less visited parts of Parc Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), it takes in the Mawddach Estuary, the forests of Coed y Brenin and Gwydir finishing up in Conwy, North Wales. A true adventure, Traws Eryri!
The money raised will be split between Priory Park School, Little Kinvaston School and the nominated charity this year will be The Movement Centre in Oswestry.
This charity is very close to our heart. A member of our team has a niece who is currently being supported by the charity. The Movement Centre provides life changing children's physiotherapy and targeted training. The centre also supports children who have various clinical diagnosis as well as children with specific movement difficulties.
Please donate as much as you can, we appreciate each and every donation.
So where is your donation going? Staff at LKS and PPCS go above and beyond to give the best support and opportunities to our students. Some of the money raised with help fund projects and equipment in our schools.
In regards to The Movement Centre, the cost of a 12-month course of therapy costs around £5,500 and the cost of an individual frame to support a child is £1,500 to purchase.
With help from all of you, we hope to raise as much as we can to support them so they can continue their important work. The Movement Centres slogan is ‘Let’s stand together’ I hope we do!
