Update on Our Sweet Mark Saturday 10/4 ❤️
Our sweet Mark has been through so much. After his brain surgery, the doctors tried three times to remove him from the ventilator, but unfortunately, each attempt was unsuccessful. They believe the difficulty is due to his broken ribs, so today he underwent another surgery to repair four of the eight fractured ribs.
He is now back on the ventilator and recovering from the procedure. During the weaning attempts, Mark showed small but deeply meaningful signs of progress he lifted his hand, moved his mouth, and even shed a few tears when hearing Mike his brothers voice. Each time off the ventilator looks like he was able to breathe on his own for a longer period of time each time but not 100% successful . Today he was able to give his dad a small squeeze on the hand. When his dad speaks to him, his blood pressure does rise. These moments give us hope that he’s still fighting to come back to us.
Please continue to keep Mark in your prayers as we face this difficult and uncertain time. Your love, support, and prayers mean more to our family than words can express. - We thank you all once again.
Our dear family member and loved one, Mark Moczarski was recently involved in a tragic moped accident while traveling in Bali. He was on his dream trip traveling abroad this summer . He suffered a severe head injury and had to undergo emergency brain surgery with multiple other injuries . Mark is currently in a medically induced coma and fighting for his life. Currently in critical condition after suffering a traumatic brain injury, trauma to his chest, an orbital fracture, and seven broken ribs. Thoracic chest wall bleeding.
His only chance of recovery is to stabilize him and hopefully transport back to the United States so he can receive the specialized medical care he urgently needs. The cost of a medical flight is overwhelming for his family, and they cannot do this alone.
We are reaching out with heavy hearts, asking for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering the expenses to safely bring Mark home and ensure he has the best possible chance at recovery.
If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word. Your generosity, prayers, and kindness mean more than words can express.
Let’s come together to give Mark and his family the strength and resources they need during this unimaginable time.
