Help Keep Gilsum, NH Connected During Power Outages!

We’re asking our friends, neighbors, and community members to help us raise $14,382 to install a 14kW Generac standby generator and the labor to install it at the Gilsum Village Store for the benefit of our community. A power outage can mean more than dark rooms and a warm refrigerator. For some of our neighbors, it can mean losing heat, communication, food, refrigerated medications, and access to everyday essentials, especially during the winter months with icy roads to Keene. We want the Gilsum Village Store to be a central place that stays open for our community when the lights go out.

This generator will help keep our lights, heat, Wi-Fi and outlets running, as well as our freezer, grab-and-go cooler, sandwich prep table, coffee pot, and walk-in cooler so we can continue providing food and essential services during power outages throughout the year.

Our goal is to use this generator to help us serve as a central hub for Gilsum during times of need—a place where neighbors can charge their phones, get a cup of coffee, stay warm, purchase food, water, batteries, flashlights, ice, and other essentials when they're needed most.
