NEEDS FOR REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE FUNDS CONTINUE FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL HISTORIC BUILDING ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC BUILDINGS.

JANUARY 1, 2026 IT WAS 125 YEARS SINCE IT WAS DEDICATED.

The need for funds continues. Most all the funds raised to-date have been spent on repairs and maintenance already. And, costs for fuel, electricity, repairs materials, etc etc etc keep rising.

This GoFundMe named ALL BLDG REPAIR AND MAINTENCE NEEDS supports the Poultney Welsh Church Preservation Alliance and PF (Presbyterian Fellowship) INC. non-profit and all its building upkeep and repair needs.

This non-profit is dedicated to preserving the rich history and cultural heritage of our community this building represents, contains and offers.

Past donations helped the non-profit purchase the property on January 1, 2020; to begin painting the exterior of the building; in 2024 to begin removal of trees that have caused damage to the roof as well as to the brick chimney; in 2025 to begin repairs to the beautiful slate roof damaged by the trees; and in 2026 to remove more trees including one that fell in 2025 and more behind the building. More is yet to be done with the roof, the chimney; with the handicap access ramp; with the entire slate roof; and with interior repairs and upgrade needs.
