Shiare is a village located in the Oti region of Ghana. The village is home to Akyode speaking Guans.
Shiare also known as "The Hanging Village " attracts a good number of tourists because of its unique landscape and topography. The village also boasts of a lovely scenery, a picturesque waterfall and a lush greenery.
Besides these, Shiare has several issues and lacks several amenities such as potable water, health care and toilet facilities, good communication and network connection and access to paved suburban roads.
The only source of water for the citizens of Shiare is the waterfall. The people use water from this source for washing, cleaning and cooking amongst others.
