Pot Hole Repairs on The Avenue, Medburn
Donation protected
Dear Residents on the Avenue.
As you will no doubt be aware winter has once again taken its toll on our road hence our intention to raise some funds to get another round of pothole repairs done.
Firstly we recognise that the silver bullet is to get the road completely resurfaced and we can assure people that the pricing for that is being collated by other residents on the street.
However in the short term maintenance is our only option to protect vehicles and improve access, hence our reach out now.
We are using GOFUNDME to increase transparency for those who donate and to keep track of progress.
The Goal
Our goal is to raise £2000 for repairs via Simon Maughan of Prospect Farm who has kindly offered his services to carry out the work relative to cost price, as he did in June 2021 which incidentally cost £1200 funded by a single resident.
Simon’s business has access to a team of workers and hot box to cut out and repair with tarmac the existing pot holes.
The Funds
All work carried out will be invoiced accordingly and copies of the invoice will be available to those who wish to see it.
Should we exceed the target then those funds will be held for future repairs should they be required.
Donations
There is no expectation to donate to this project nor is there an expectation of what residents should donate in terms of finance. Please take this as it's intended, which is a friendly request to solve a problem we all share.
Therefore as residents of The Leas we feel that by contributing to this project everyone is better off in the short to medium term. Hence the residents of The Leas have agreed to donate £75 per house to this project to start the ball rolling.
Any questions then please don’t hesitate to contact Darren Bosi.
Regards
Residents of The Leas.
