I’m incredibly excited to become a mom—it’s a beautiful, life-changing experience that I’ve looking forward to with so much love and anticipation. But at the same time, navigating the early stages of motherhood while physically and emotionally recovering from childbirth will be really challenging so I dove deep into ways to ease into this beautiful stage of our life so we can better provide a beautiful beginning for our son. The constant demands, lack of sleep, and emotional and physical shifts can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I’ve come to understand how easily postpartum depression can take root. That’s why I’ve been especially drawn to the Korean approach to maternal care, which focuses on holistic postpartum recovery. With its proven practices that support a mother’s physical healing and emotional well-being, it offers a nurturing path that helps women not just recover, but truly thrive as they step into motherhood.
In addition, this in-home care will provide in-depth education for both me and the baby from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., offering consistent, hands-on support during this critical time. Having access to professional guidance throughout the day will not only ease the transition into motherhood but also help me build confidence in caring for my newborn. This level of dedicated care ensures that both my baby and I receive the optimum support we need to adjust, heal, and grow together in a safe, nurturing environment. We know how difficult things are right now, and asking for help isn’t easy. But in this tender and vulnerable chapter of my life, as I recover from childbirth and step into motherhood, any donation — no matter how small — would mean the world to us. Your kindness and support will help carry me through this time, and I’ll be forever grateful.
