Postpartum Care Fund for Indigenous Mother

Donation protected
An Indigenous family of four is in need of postpartum financial support that would allow the mother to stay home with her newborn longer. It has been a goal for her to breastfeed her newborn, and as they continue to attune during this time it is crucial that she is able to delay her return to work so that she may continue to have a positive outcome with breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is a revolutionary act of love, and the 3 months postpartum is a time of sacred adjustment for the mother and baby.

These funds will cover at least 2 weeks worth of work, and will be used for:
- Groceries
- Baby items
- Utilities and housing
- Self-care for the mother

If you are interested in directly supporting the mother you can send funds to:
