Hello, my name is Kilian Cook, and I am an ultra-marathon runner.

I am teaming up with Guardians Worldwide Portugal to help restore native woodland affected by wildfires and severe storms.

On May 9, 2026, I will run 125 kms in one day- 3 marathons. The run will start in Odeceixe and will end in Santiago do Cacem along the historic Rota do Vicentina, across Algarve and Alentejo.

The run will to raise money for Floresta Portelas Reserve in Penamacor, managed by Guardians Worldwide, an area onm the foothills of Serra da Malcata National Park: home to endemic species like the mongoose, wild board and Iberian lynx.

The land was seriously affected by wild fires in 2025, and recently, by storm Kristin.

With your help, we can plant 250 trees and regenerate 7 hectares of native forestry in Portugal Interior!
