Have you ever dreamed of taking on Portsmouth’s iconic Spinnaker Tower? And what better moment than its 100th birthday to take the 100 metre plunge for a cause that lifts our whole community.

This centenary challenge brings together three incredible Portsmouth charities—Motiv8, Pompey in the Community, and Spark Community Space—who are partnering with Mountjoy, The Abseilers, and Spinnaker Tower to create a community day like no other.

On Friday 29th May 2026, 36 brave individuals from across our city will step over the edge, each raising vital funds that will have a lasting impact on thousands of local people in need. Thanks to the generous support of our partners and sponsors, every single penny raised will go directly to grassroots services supporting those who often feel unseen.

At the base of the tower, the charities will be celebrating their work with fun, games, and family activities, ensuring the whole community can share in the day.
