Porthcawl 10k for Jake

Hi, my name is Jasmine and I am fundraising for my brother Jake.

In August 2024, Jake was diagnosed with sarcoma cancer and went through major surgery to remove the cancer. Unfortunately this stopped him from playing rugby, going to the gym and attending university where he was due to start. Jake was making good progress with his recovery and things were looking hopeful. In March, we found out that the cancer had spread and therefore further surgery was needed. It’s now 3 weeks after surgery and Jake is feeling very positive and making great progress again.

We have decided to run the Porthcawl 10k to raise money for the Sir Gareth Edwards cancer charity. This charity has supported my brother emotionally and financially through a period of time where he was unable to work.
