Pop Caal Family Fund: A Family's Path to Healing

My name is Belkys Contreras, and I am fundraising for the Pop Caal Family, who are currently facing an unimaginable tragedy. On December 5, 2023, their beloved father, Emmanuel Pop Caal, became a victim of the senseless shootings in South Austin. In the wake of this devastating loss, we are rallying together to provide much-needed financial support to help them navigate through these difficult times.

Emmanuel was not just a name; he was the pillar of his family—a loving husband and a devoted father to three wonderful children. His sudden departure has left a void that cannot be filled, and the family is grappling with grief and the challenges that lie ahead. Emmanuel was a worker of mine, and that is how I connected to his beautiful family. Emmanuel has worked for me for many years and has significantly impacted my family's life.

We are raising funds to assist the Pop Caal Family in covering the expenses related to Manuel's funeral, allowing them to say their goodbyes and honor his memory. Additionally, these funds will help alleviate any financial burden, offering some stability as they navigate through this period of profound loss. The Pop Caal family has given me responsibility for managing these funds. I will then transfer the money raised to Emmanuel's wife, Domitilia Candelaria Caal Pop. I

Mi nombre es Belkys Contreras y estamos apoyando a la familia Pop Caal, la cual ha perdido a Emmanuel Pop Caal en una balacera el 5 de diciembre en Austin, TX. Manuel Pop a trabajado con mi familia por 3 anos, ayudando a remodelar algunas propiedades, conozco su familia y por la situacion que ahora estan pasando me pidieron que si podiamos a yudarles porque tienen que enviar el cuerpo a su pais de origen.
