Hi, my name is Kathy Cummins and for the past 2 Christmases I have been fundraising to provide a memorable Christmas Day for children from poor families where I live in Philippines.

They live a very simple, rural life with barely enough for their basic needs.

Thanks to overwhelming help from donors the past 2 Christmases they have had wonderful and memorable days with good, hot food, games and goodies and everyone has taken immense pleasure from helping to provide some Christmas cheer.

The event has got bigger as word has spread around the community and more children come from poorer and more rural areas.

It is a wonderful day and really means a lot to them as well as passing on Jesus’ message of ‘love thy neighbour’.
