Please help us get our soon-to-be unemployed workers through a rough patch.  Camelis on Ponce will be closing in April and I need your help today to insure they are able to cover their monthly expenses until they can find new employment.  Our people are the latest victims of the gentrification on Ponce.  It's increasingly difficult for young restaurant industry people to pay their rent in this quickly changing city, and it pains me that so many of our young people can't afford to live in in town Atlanta anymore.  We have several workers who live near our Ponce location and I deserately believe that we should do whatever we can to help these folks remain in the area.  These are the young people that I believe have helped to make Ponce the interesting place that it is.  It is sad to realize that we are losing more and more of our creative young people to gentrification.   With every new fancy pants bourgeois store/restaurant, Ponce loses a little bit of its soul.  Please help me keep a little bit of Ponce's soul intact.

We will also be having a fundraiser for our people on Monday evening April 10th at our L5P location, where all alcohol proceeds will go to our unemployed folks.
