Marathon for Mental Health – Run to Raise
On April 26, 2026, I will be running the Mississauga Marathon — 42.2 kilometers — wearing full police uniform and equipment.
This challenge isn’t just about distance. It’s about purpose.
Police officers face constant physical and psychological stress. Over time, that weight adds up — and too often, it’s carried silently. Mental health struggles in policing affect not only officers, but their families, colleagues, and communities.
That’s why I’ve partnered with Beyond the Blue Canada, an organization that provides critical mental health support and resources for police members, families of fallen officers, and retirees.
Why This Matters
We ask a lot from those who serve.
This run is about showing that:
It’s okay to struggle.
It’s okay to ask for help.
And it’s possible to push through difficult challenges — together.
By running in full gear, I’m making that invisible weight visible.
The Mission
This isn’t just my race.
This is a call to action — for officers, first responders, and community members alike — to step up, set a goal, and be part of something bigger.
Whether you run, donate, or share this page, you’re contributing to a stronger support system for those who serve.
