Help Us Protect and Care for Our Grandmother

Our beloved grandmother is in urgent need of help and support.

After being isolated from her family by her long-time boyfriend / appointed Guardian, her health and well-being have significantly declined. She was moved into a hospice facility, and her personal belongings were sold without our knowledge—even after we offered to help preserve and protect them.

What’s even more heartbreaking is her physical condition. She is covered in bedsores and she has lost ALOT of weight it is scary to look at. Her hand is twisted in a way that deeply concerns us, and we’ve received no answers or updates about her at all. She was purposely placed in a location far away to limit our access to her . We fear she is being taken advantage of given the state she’s in. He is abusing his guardianship, and we are fighting to regain access to her and ensure she receives the compassionate care she deserves in her final stages of Alzheimer’s

Our family is doing everything we can to reconnect with her, get legal help if necessary, and support her needs—but we can’t do it alone. Any contribution, big or small, will go toward:

• Legal assistance to help us advocate for her rights

• Medical evaluations and care she may not be receiving

• Basic necessities and support if we are able to move her with family

Our grandmother has always been a loving, vibrant presence in our lives. She is our rock. We are heartbroken by what she’s going through, and we are determined to fight for her safety and dignity. Thank you for standing with us during this time.
