Everyone needs a VILLAGE

Friends.... there are times in life when we all need a village to surround us and just give a hand up to help us to our feet. My sweet friend Sharita is going through one of those times. In 2013, Sharita lost her son to a motor vehicle collision that turned out to be fatal for him. She was devastated but with her remaining children, including her miracle baby Gabby,who you see above... she kept moving forward. She was married to her love and focusing on life. In 2019, tragically, her husband was shot and killed in front of her and her young daughter by her older son. In one moment, Sharita lost her husband, effectively lost her son and her 7 year old daughter was traumatized.

Since that date, Sharita has been struggling with grief and depression and trying to meet expenses in her life. As of now, she has fallen seriously behind and needs our help to be in a place where she can get some emotional help.

These two, Sharita and Gabby are still living in the home where this happened.

I would love to see God move people in such a way that not only could these bills get paid up but maybe we could raise enough for them to move to someplace new and safe without the memories that haunt this place.

Friends, I know times are hard and everything is expensive but can we... as community decide we can do without a coffee out this week or leave off something else extra to help this Momma catch her breath??
