Hi, I'm Chris, owner of Middlesbrough-based Cozi Plumbing, Heating & Gas.

I'm hoping to join a group of lads from my Church (Tees Valley Community Church) on a mission trip to Northern Thailand, where we'll use our skills to renovate a home and support the vital work of Kids Life Ministries Foundation.

The Foundation serves the needs of the community by homing vulnerable children, providing education for those unable to attend school, running a farm and providing support to families in the surrounding hill tribes.

The trip is scheduled for October and will be 10 days long. In that time we hope to make the Directors on-site home livable again by fitting new showers, a kitchen, roofing, replacing internal walls and electrics.

Each of the lads brings different skills and for many of us, it'll be the first time we've had the chance to use our profession to help those in need on the other side of the world.

Flight costs and covering our expenses (so we don't eat into the limited funds of the charity) mean we all need to raise about £1500 each to go... this page is me asking can you help?
