Plum Island Aerodrome needs a new plow truck!

Hello Friends of Plum Island Aerodrome,

As you can imagine, keeping the oldest airfield in New England operating comes with a number of expenses, and one of those is a plow to keep our runway and ramp cleared through the winter.

We have located a replacement for our older one that is on its last leg, but we will need an influx of money to pay for it. A picture of the new to us truck is the one above already in action!

The cost of the truck is $3k, so we have set our goal at $4500 to cover any additional expenses related to the retrofit, maintenance, fund raising costs and other items that will be needed with the new truck.

Anyone that donates, remember that any additional funds we are able to procure will go towards other operating expenses we have at the airport, as the regular tie-downs we have are not usually quite enough for everything that is needed.

We are truly grateful for any donations we receive for our small 501c3 historic airport at Plum Island.
