We are volunteers at the Dover Pantry. And we want to persuade you to pledge your pennies (or pounds) when we Plod for the Pantry.
What are we going to do?
Volunteers from the Dover Pantry will be Plodding from the Deal Pantry to Dover Pantry on 02/10/24 and then from Dover Pantry to Aylesham Pantry on 17/10/24. We plan to complete each walk to our neighbouring Pantries during their opening times so we can say hello to our fellow volunteers.
What is a Pantry?
Your Local Pantries are all about dignity, choice and hope, bringing people together around food. We aim to serve those in out local community struggling with the cost of living .
Our members pay a small weekly membership (currently £6) , choosing at least 10 items from a wide selection of groceries (typically saving £21 per week) to help supplement their regular food shop.
The Dover Pantry is located in the Charlton Center, High Street, Dover
Our Pantry is part of a nationwide network of over 120 Pantries
