My name is Brian Gerjets. I am a Bernie PLEO National Delegate, Veteran and hourly employee. I understand first hand the difficulties of making a living with a base wage of just $7.25. Please help support me in raising the funds needed to attend the Democratic National Convention this July.
What We Stand For
Minimum Wage Increase
We live in a $30 an hour world and a good job in rural Iowa is around $15. This just doesn't cut it. A $15 an hour minimum wage is very low and obtainable.
Nothing will hurt Wal-Mart more than a healthly minimum wage increase. Small business would have a chance to compete for customers that would have money to spend!
The corporations have been getting away for too long with huge tax breaks. This needs to end now!
Health-Care Reform
Single-payer Health Care is the only way we will ever get this country heading in the right direction. It solves our V.A. Health Care System problems and allows all people to enjoy "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness".
Free College for Qualified Students
The Republicans and Hillary say we can't afford it. Well, if we can afford to attack an entire region of the planet, killing innocent people for corporate greed, then, I say: We can give our youth the tools they will need in the future to keep them from being led around by the nose like cattle at the State Fair!
Bernie Sanders must take the Democratic nomination that he so rightfully deserves!
He, and only, he can solidly defeat Trump!
You have my word I will fight hard for all the issues that Bernie has so eloquently brought to the forefront of the American people.
