Greetings,

My name is Jordan, Mike and Gleneth's nephew and Andy's cousin. Earlier this year Uncle Mike suffered a bad foot injury while working, which marked the beginning of a series of health challenges for the family. In May, 7-year-old Andy found him Unconscious on the floor after getting off his school bus. Andy's quick thinking by calling Gleneth through Kid's Messenger was critical in saving Mike's life the doctors said.

Mike ended up in the ICU on life support with Septic Shock and Toxic Shock Syndrome. While the doctors initially gave Gleneth a very grim prognosis, Mike's fighting spirit prevailed and he survived. However, his health journey is far from over. Ongoing Infections and Cognitive issues resulting from the Septic Shock have presented significant daily hurdles.

As the primary provider for Gleneth and Andy, Mike's facing well over a year without the ability to work as before and it's drained them financially. His health constraints have impacted his ability to run his one-person Mattress business as well as handle daily household responsibilities.

Mike's been in a lot of pain since February and still has 2 more operations to go. Mike and family need your help now due to him having crazy high health related expenses. Mike doesn't ask people for help but I want to see them have less stress. Uncle Mike told me that he now has to file for Social Security Retirement but it will take a couple of months. This is to help them and will be used for food, doctors visits, household bills.

Mike, known for his generosity and community involvement within the Hot Rod, Weightlifting, and business communities, is now facing unforeseen financial challenges. We, as a community, can make a difference.
