In the span of two months, the Rajeti family has gone through the nightmare of losing four dearly loved family members, leaving behind three widows and three children (Karthik 12, Madhusri 11 and Aditya 5). For a pandemic that has ravaged endlessly, their family toll has been beyond devasting.
Tragedy befell their family on May 1st. Pavan and Vinay – loving, caring, bright, hardworking, good natured and inseparable brothers – were both diagnosed with COVID. They had been caring for their sick grandmother in hospital and were infected in the process.
As their conditions deteriorated, their grandmother unfortunately passed away on May 3rd. Unable to even attend her funeral, they themselves were hospitalized on May 7th. On May 16th, despite a heroic battle, Vinay was taken. Compounding the nightmare, their father and head of the family R. Sudharsana Rao, overwhelmed with grief, died of a heart attack even while their mother fought her own battle with COVID. Pavan battled on for almost two months before he too succumbed to the ravages of COVID on June 30th.

ManiMala Rajeti
I have lost both my brothers, my father and my grandmother in the span of the two longest months of my life. I cannot describe the grief. My world is shattered, the hopes and dreams I had for my family lost. I will not though let this define me or more importantly, define the children left behind. I want the best possible future for those that are still with us, and my energy, focus and drive is for the children. Without their fathers, without any savings as a result of exhausting every possible medical solution, they are in dire need of your help.
I am therefore reaching out to each and every one of you, imploring you, to help me build an education fund for the children that will allow them to grow into the adults that my brothers dreamt of. I want to give them the future they deserve.
In this critical time, I therefore ask that you contribute whatever you can and to share this message as wide and as far as you can – amongst your family, your friends, your colleagues, by any and all means. Every little bit helps to start mending and hopefully transforming the outlook for Karthik 12, Madhusri 11 and Aditya 5.

I, Manimala Rajeti, am the beneficiary of this campaign. Every penny raised will be placed in a trust for the children, to fund their education and provide them with the opportunities that we all take for granted. To give them the future my brothers dreamt of.
